What is infrared?
Infrared refers to electromagnetic waves whose wavelengths lie between visible light and microwave. Depending on its wavelength, infrared can be further divided into close-range, mid-range, and distant-range. The distant-range infrared has the longest wavelength and highest efficiency among the three.
What does an infrared sauna do?
There are a lot of toxins and pollutants in our environment and in the items we eat and drink. Our bodies, which are constantly trying to detoxify these toxins, cannot keep up and we end up storing toxins until we can get rid of them. When you use an infrared sauna, the infrared rays penetrate into our bodies and increase the circulation of blood and cellular activity. This in turn, causes our heart rate to increase and we start to sweat releasing toxins that have been stored in our system.
How long does it take to heat up?
It varies depending on where your sauna is placed, whether its in the house or garage. On average, it can take 30 minutes or longer if the starting room temperature is around 18˚C (65˚F).
How long should is sit in an infrared sauna?
You should not exceed 40 minutes at a time.
How often can I go in an infrared sauna?
You can use your sauna everyday for up to 30 minutes.
